Kenya Mills has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry

Ms. Mills has devoted her career to bettering schools and her community

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV, October 21, 2021 – Kenya Mills has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An expert in social work and emotional learning, Ms. Mills serves as a social worker for schools via Invo HealthCare. In this capacity, she also provides therapy services for students in the Clark County School District. Ms. Mills was inspired to pursue a career in social work due to her determination to provide a better future for her children, and to advocate on behalf of students to ensure a climate of healthy diversity in schools and workplaces.

In her role as a social worker, Ms. Mills conducts social and emotional learning classes for fifth-grade and third-grade students. She also strives to provide a better understanding of what community is, and how to act appropriately in classrooms with one’s teachers and peers. Outside of her work in education, Ms. Mills owns Mills Brand Financial, through which she works as a financial literacy agent. By blending her work in both fields, she is proud to have provided resources to students, families, school administration and the community at large to influence change and growth on a wider scale.

Ms. Mills obtained an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Mount San Antonio College and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She holds certifications as a Census Bureau agent and for grant writing and budgeting. Looking toward the future, she intends to garner a reputation as a successful business owner and credit restoration professional. Likewise, Ms. Mills’ goal is to teach her community about the power of credit and financial literacy and help improve the lives of others.
